Schedule for the day:
Build device
Install software on atleast 1 machine
Flash the NXT
Run the line follower code
Probelems and progress:
Problem on personal computer connecting to device.
Lokal PC used to solve the problem and will be used if everything else fails
Installing on a 64-bit windows computer:
1. Remove 64-bit versions of Java.
2. Install 32-bit java eventhough you use 64-bit windows.
3. Install lejos and eclipse as stated in the links from the course homepage.
You can't use the eclipse plug-in to load your programs to the nxt-brick, but you'll have to use the cmd-line commands instead.
Compiling your program.
navigate to the folder containing your java-file and write the following command:
nxjc yourprogram.java
Loading and running the program on the brick.
In the same folder as above write the following command to load the program to the nxt-brick:
nxj -r yourprogram
If the program does not start automatically, search for in the files folder on the nxt-brick.
